Israeli news anchor shows up with a gun inside the studio

In a seemingly bizarre act, Israeli news anchor Lital Shemesh appeared as she put a single weapon on her waist circumference inside the studio while hosting a show live.

On Wednesday, the right-wing newspaper "Israel Today" published a picture of the presenter on Israel's Channel 14, who is close to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, putting a weapon on her waist, commenting that Shamish is among the women who have armed themselves.

Interestingly, the Israeli newspaper described Channel 14 as the least watched and credible, according to an opinion poll conducted in Israel that showed the superiority of Channel 12 and Channel 13, while Channel 11 came in third and Channel 14 in fourth.

According to Anadolu Agency, the Israeli government encouraged its citizens to take up arms after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, carried out by the Palestinian Resistance on October 7th, in response to continuing Israeli attacks.

Even Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gufir distributed weapons to Israelis.

"Since 7 October 2023, the Israeli army has been waging a devastating war on Gaza, which, as of Wednesday, has left 22,313 people dead, 57,296 injured, mostly children and women, massive destruction of infrastructure and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, according to the Strip's authorities and the UN."
