Israeli drone strikes Palestinian vehicle east of Nablus

Israeli occupation forces shelled on Al Quds Street near the Balata refugee camp east of Nablus, at dawn on Wednesday, as the Israeli army continued its incursions into towns and cities in the occupied West Bank.

The Palestinian Red Crescent said that the occupation forces closed the area where the targeted vehicle was, prevented medical staff and ambulances from reaching the place and fired directly at their crews.

Al-Jazeera correspondent reported that the occupation forces pushed additional military reinforcements to the eastern area of the city of Nablus in the northern West Bank, before withdrawing from the area.

The correspondent said that the occupation forces confiscated the vehicle that they shelled in Al-Quds Street, along the Balata camp.

Videos posted on social networking sites showed the targeted vehicle caught fire near Balata camp, east of Nablus, but the target was not immediately known.

Intensive raids
Israeli occupying forces raided several West Bank towns and raided a number of houses early Wednesday morning.

They raided the area of Ras al-Jura, Deir Bahha and Jelda in the city of Hebron, raided, searched and terrorized their inhabitants, and arrested a Palestinian.

The occupying forces also raided the town of Idna, west of Hebron, and carried out large-scale searches, during which they assaulted citizens.

In the same context, occupation forces also stormed the Kfar Saba neighborhood in the city of Qalqilya at dawn. By their vehicles, the roads and crossings leading to the neighborhood were closed, while occupation soldiers raided the houses of a number of citizens, amid the flying of drones.

The occupying forces also stormed the towns of Azzun and Kafr Thuluth, east of Qalqilya, amid sound and gas bombs.

"Since the launch of the Battle of Tufan al-Aqsa on 7 October, Israeli attacks have escalated in the West Bank, resulting in the death of more than 350 Palestinians and the arrest of more than 5,000 others."

The Israeli occupation army continues its incursions, while the Haaretz newspaper quoted security officials as saying that the situation in the West Bank is on the brink of explosion.
